    BREAKFAST BOWL WITH POACHED EGG

    PRSNT BREAKFAST BOWL

We live very active lifestyles and find the importance of fueling up with good, nutrient dense food profound. Since we eat mostly a plant based diet and do not eat many grains (we have almost cut out all bread of our diet, but we eat real sourdough when available) we challenge ourselves to be creative with our meals. Our favorite healthy, yummy breakfast bowl (that actually fills us up after a big run) is a yummy, healthy breakfast bowl, filled to the brim with good quality ingredients. You can add anything to this really, but check out the list below for what we love to add into our bowls. We eat eggs (happy chicken) so that adds a lot of value for us to this bowl, but if you are fully vegan, jackfruit is a great addition.

    PRSNT BREAKFAST BOWL

    PRSNT ADVENTURE: WITHIN

Can you remember the last time you created your own art? Do you recall memories of getting fully lost in a game or an activity? And what about the last time you laughed so hard you peed yourself?

You dress exactly how you feel and make up a nick name for yourself, allowing yourself  to connect with your inner child, to get weird and surrender to the prsnt moment.

Adults tend to make excuses for why we don't have time to play, just for the sake of playing. We really look to children for inspiration because they are naturally drawn towards being in a playful state of mind. They tend to always play, wherever they are; in bathroom lines, in the 10 min break at recess or when they are brushing their teeth.

When children play it is not pre-set, they don't know what's going to happen in the story they are creating, so they tend to become totally immersed in the present moment. This state of being requires skill sets like trust, creativity, flow and spontaneity, something children seem to practice more than adults.

    Retreats for women.

Don't forget to adventure within, get weird and be whoever comes out if you express yourself in complete freedom. Adventure outdoors and within.  Its our passion  and calling to host weekend yoga retreats encouraging outdoor adventure travel. We embraced the opportunity to inspire women's fitness adventures and digital detox outdoor retreats.

    TRIBE DIARY: Words from Sunset

    Dear Kjersti and Chanelle,

I am writing to thank you for pulling your "power of the universe" together and creating the PRSNT camps and the entire concept in general. Both of you seriously just glow with... I don't even know what to call it... star dust or something. Now I'm going to sound like a silly person here... but... I actually had no idea HOW (and sorry to use this word) famous both of you are for your professional careers until I started following your Instagrams AFTER camp. I got word of the camp from a friend, I signed up, showed up, and literally felt like I could be my complete vulnerable self in front of an entire group of people I didn't know, and didn't feel like a crazy person when I was speaking. How the heck did you create that space?! I actually did feel like I was stepping out of a vortex on Tuesday when I had to go back into the real world.  The reason I bring up fame and fandom is because I just want to say I am a fan of both of you because of WHO you are, not solely because of your careers (which are obviously impressive and RAD as well!). I'm sure you have so many friends and people you interact with on a daily basis with living the life you do, but I just wanted you to know I felt how genuine, true, and incredible the gifts of your souls you each had to give were, and that's a seriously impressive quality. I will be touched for the rest of my life that I had the chance to connect with your spirits. You are some of the coolest ladies I have ever met, and I will always speak so highly of you and your mission. I was in a really really bad place before coming to camp, and iv been working incredibly hard on a lot of personal things for a long time that have been holding me back in many facets of my life. I cannot thank you enough for creating a space like you did last weekend, because I really do feel like it was the catalyst that I needed to find some clarity and direction in my life. I feel a little silly for some of the things I said ;) but it was all so PRSNT! In a magical way, truly. You are beautiful humans, and I am so grateful for your love, encouragement, and kindness. I wish you the best of luck with all of your plans, I envision I will make it to another retreat, and if there is anything I can do to help you in the future, I would love to. Even if it's just helping you with logistics here in Colorado or looking over a budgeting sheet ;). I am thankful for you both, the entire experience, and am also so thankful to be loving myself again :) Namaste 🙏🏽

    Love,

THROUGH THE EYES OF ZEAL OPTICS: PRSNT PERFORMANCE x AVI 1 COLORADO

Words by Gabby Aguirre from Zeal Optics Blog

All gathered in a circle on the floor, Kjersti leads the ladies of December’s PRSNT Performance Camp into a collective deep breath and pulls from a deck of spiritual cards. “Purpose,” she reads, “I discover the meaning and purpose of life in the process of overcoming difficulties with dignity, courage, and faith. I am on purpose.” She pauses.

This practice is one that Kjersti and Chanelle have integrated into all of their PRSNT camps. It’s a kind of active meditation, an exercise in expression, an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of your chosen card and express where it fits in your life.

    Photo: @GIBBLEGABBLE

Kjersti has been questioning the purpose in her’s a lot recently. “Lately I’ve been feeling that just traveling and competing isn’t enough,” she shares with the group, “What am I going to do with my life? How am I going to make my life about more than just me?” She goes on, “That’s what PRSNT is for me. I really feel that this is my purpose and I’m so blessed to be able to make this a part of my career.”

This; a female community built on snowboarding, mindfulness and health. This sense of belonging, purpose, and curiosity cultivated within small groups at a time that will expand to PRSNT tribes around the world. These mountains of energy Kjersti and Chanelle continually spend creating PRSNT Performance Camp vibrate through the beloved PRSNT Lodge, into all the ladies at the camp, and through to the rest of their lives.

Kjersti and Chanelle are big activists for the climate as well, working with sustainable partners like Simply Straws, Protect Our Winters and Zeal Optics to do their part to protect our beloved outdoor playgrounds. This winter, what the campers took along with them besides all the elements of “presentness” was an AIARE-1 Avalanche Certification. “Working with Colorado Mountain Guides for the AIARE Level 1 course made so much sense with our mindfulness message. Avalanche awareness is all about slowing down and being aware of the elements around you.”

As Kjersti charges through contest season and she and Chanelle follow their purposes in snowboarding, business, and life, that message of purpose ripples throughout their lives and those of all the women of this winter’s first PRSNT Performance camp.

TRIBE DIARY: Camper "Fast" #PRSNTloveland Colorado

    p: @gibblegabby

    p: @gibblegabby

Chanelle and I met about five years ago at my home mountain Winter Park Resort. I had attended the Oakley Progression Sessions and she was my coach. After that camp I had thought to myself that Chanelle was probably the coolest person who had ever set foot on earth. But, I wasn't to sure if Chanelle and I would ever see each other again. One day after school my dad picked me up from the bus and told me he signed me up for some camp called BPRSNT.

    prsnt amarath bowl food

When he told me the news I wasn't quite sure what he was getting me into this time. I figured it would be the same as any other camp that I had been to. The camp blew me away, it was the complete opposite of what I had expected. During the fast two days of my experience at the BPRSNT camp I learned things that not only changed my perspective on life, but my view on how I should love and respect who I am as an individual. I left this camp not wanting to go home. It was as if I was in a completely different world with only loving, respectful humans and nothing else mattered. Every day I woke up receiving amazing positive energy from Chanelle and Kjersti, I ate the most delicious meals, learned yoga, went out and shredded with the raddest girls, came home and had the most touching conversations that made me view myself and others in a much different way than I had before the camp.

Since camp, I have been so inspired to cook myself homemade organic meals, set goals for myself, and give gratitude towards my life and the people surrounding me. I am so grateful I was able to go to  this life changing event that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
